Children's Books
The children's Carnegie Medal has just been announced: Meg Rosoff's pitch-perfect novel about teen angst, Just In Case ($20) is the very deserved winner. This unique crossover novel (ie. great for adults too) is Rosoff's second book for teenagers, after 2004's multi-awardwinning How I Live Now ($20).

The Kate Greenaway Award (for illustrated children's books) has gone to Mini Grey's The Adventures of the Dish and the Spoon ($37), a hilarious rags-to-riches (and back again) tale of the most dazzling crockery-cutlery duo of all time!
