It was an absolute treat speaking about our big news with John Campbell and RNZ’s Morning Report team. 💕📚
After 23 years and 8 months of owning Time Out Bookstore,
Wendy Tighe-Umbers has sold the business to longtime manager, Jenna Todd.
On your end, you shouldn't notice much of a change. Our team and hours of 9am-9pm remain the same and Wendy will still be working a few days a week. We're truly ecstatic that Time Out can continue to bring the best books to the best community, as we have done since 1988.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported me to help to make Time Out the successful bookshop it is today, I know Time Out is in great hands with Jenna. See you in the shop!" - Wendy
“I'm so grateful that myself and our amazing team will be continuing both the legacy of Time Out and our longstanding trusted relationships with our customers and the book industry. Long live the book!” - Jenna
Our March bestsellers are here - yippee!
It's wonderful to see our New Zealand authors take the top 3 spots.
